After a successful development run in the Minnesota Fringe Festival, a fully-realized production that was added on to the 2024-25 season at New Conservatory Theatre Center in San Francisco, and an East Coast/New York Premiere as part of Frigid New York’s New York Fringe Festival at Wild Project in the East Village, Francis Grey is finally ready for his homecoming!

Produced by Dynasty Typewriter, I’ve slightly rebranded this run of the show with a new title, ONE-MAN WHODUNNIT: The Tale of Francis Grey and the Case of His Dead Boyfriend. In New York (and previous venues), I realized that it’s hard to sell a show with character names that mean nothing to anyone— Francis Grey is an original character with no name recognition (yet!), and when I talk about the show and say it’s a “one-man whodunnit,” that intrigues people way more than the original title. So come along for a ride and get tickets to the show— whether it be your first or seventh— I promise there will be rewrites and reshoots happening before the July show. See you there!
